LightHouse Academy’s sincere dedication to unlocking Lera’s potential fills me with joy and gratitude. The English teacher’s personalized approach, aligning with Lera’s interests in anime, is beyond praise. Lera’s newfound confidence and kindness, reflected in her thoughtful gestures and improved communication skills, attest to the school’s nurturing atmosphere. Her revived interest in self-expression and increased responsibility at home highlight the remarkable psychological growth she has experienced. We are deeply thankful for LightHouse Academy’s transformative impact on Lera’s journey toward self-discovery and personal growth.

Lighthouse Academy in Ubud has been a blessing for Gracen, and as her mom, I couldn’t be happier. From the moment we discovered it, Gracen found her place among the small, close-knit community. The school’s unique approach, blending Waldorf principles with innovative curriculum, has sparked her passion for learning. Gracen eagerly participates in volunteer activities, martial arts, and entrepreneurial projects. The dedicated teachers foster a nurturing environment where kids thrive. Our family cherishes the friendships and adventures, making Ubud and Lighthouse Academy an unforgettable experience.

Aliana’s journey has been transformative. She has become a curious and eager learner, diving into books with newfound enthusiasm and expressing herself boldly through writing.  Most importantly, she has grown in confidence and is not afraid to express herself. Her experience at LightHouse is a testament to the school’s commitment to creating a safe environment were children feel heard and seen.

There are some places that simply feel right the moment you walk in — and LightHouse Academy school is one of them.

Every morning, I send her there knowing she is not only safe, but truly seen. The teachers are extraordinary. Their dedication goes far beyond lessons and textbooks; they care deeply about each child as an individual. You can feel their patience, their warmth, and their genuine love for what they do. They don’t just teach — they encourage, they uplift, they believe. And that belief does something powerful to a child. What moves me most is the balance the school has found. Academic excellence is important here, and it shows. The children are challenged, supported, and guided to really understand what they are learning. But just as importantly, creativity is alive in every corner. There are projects that spark imagination, discussions that invite big thinking, and opportunities for children to express who they are. Learning isn’t pressured — it’s inspired.

I’ve watched my daughter’s curiosity grow stronger instead of fading. She asks more questions. She wants to explore. She comes home excited to share what she discovered that day. That love of learning — that spark — is something this school protects and nurtures so beautifully. And it’s not just about academics. The excitement around sports like padel, the games that build teamwork and confidence — all of it matters. The children are active, engaged, and happy. They are learning resilience, cooperation, and joy. Above all, there is a deep care for well-being and personal development.

The school understands that raising confident, kind, emotionally strong children is just as important as the academics. They teach respect. They teach empathy. They create a community where children feel they belong. As a parent, that means everything. I am endlessly grateful for the love, dedication, and heart that fill this school every day. It is not just shaping my daughter’s education — it is shaping who she is becoming. And that is the greatest gift of all.

We tried a few schools in Ubud before choosing Lighthouse, and we’re so happy we did. This is the second year my kids have been going there, and it truly feels like we’ve found our place. I’ve always preferred small schools for their personal approach — and here it truly feels like family. The teachers really see each child and support not only academic growth, but emotional wellbeing too. What I love most is that education is woven into real life. The students work on meaningful projects, explore ecological and social issues, and take real action — from beach cleanups to helping shelters and charities. Learning here feels alive and relevant. There are also a lot of activities like dance, padel, filming & journalism. Lessons are interactive, creative, and engaging.
Most importantly — my kids are genuinely happy there. And for me, that says everything.

A Truly Balanced Learning Community Lighthouse Academy Bali is a breath of fresh air.
What stands out immediately is the beautiful balance they’ve struck between rigorous academics and the creative worlds of arts and entrepreneurship. It’s rare to find a place that prioritizes physical fitness and genuine fun just as much as classroom learning. The teachers are excellent—deeply committed and clearly skilled at fostering a great environment where every child feels seen.

Perhaps the most telling sign of the school’s success is the students themselves; there is a wonderful sense of connection between them that makes the whole campus feel like a supportive community. If you’re looking for a holistic education that prepares kids for life, not just tests, this is it!  Most importantly — my kids are genuinely happy there. And for me, that says everything.

The school is truly excellent!
I have been part of this international school community here in Bali for four years, and I am deeply grateful to have found Lighthouse Academy for my daughter last year. There is so much offered here that you do not easily find elsewhere. I am a mother of four children. My three older children attended Waldorf schools in Germany, so I have extensive experience with alternative education and know what to look for.

This school offers a very healthy balance between academic standards and allowing each child to move at their own pace. The academic concept is strong and well structured. In addition, there are many activities and projects: cooking projects, homework support, dance classes, sports, paddle, volleyball, and of course a academic focus with a lot of reading and literature.

Most importantly, my daughter truly loves going to school. She feels happy and at home there. The teachers are well qualified, which I have not found to the same extent in other schools I explored in Bali. For our family, this school is very special, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

This school is really great. It’s been an evolution for sure and I love the direction it’s going. The staff really hears the parents and makes changes that are best for the kids…

We tried several schools before choosing this one, and we are very happy with our decision. The administration is open, supportive, and truly attentive to both children and parents. The teachers are professional and caring, and we clearly see our child’s progress. There are many interesting lessons and physical activities such as dancing and padel. We also appreciate the modern approach to education — students work on laptops and use different programs, which makes learning relevant and up to date. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, and our child enjoys going to school — which is the most important thing for us.

Our daughter attends this school, and we couldn’t be happier. Since starting there, she has gained tremendous self-confidence and goes to school every day with great joy – even on weekends. We’ve never experienced anything like it before. In a very short time, she has learned an incredible amount – things that other schools couldn’t teach her. We were particularly impressed by how quickly she integrated. She felt welcome from the very beginning and made friends quickly. After only a short time, she was even making playdates after school. We are very grateful that the administration and especially the teachers addressed our daughter’s individual needs and provided her with targeted support. You can feel genuine dedication, appreciation, and pedagogical expertise here. A heartfelt recommendation.

Our experience has been very positive. Our daughter is happy, motivated, and learning valuable things both academically and personally. The teaching staff is professional, approachable, and dedicated. For us, seeing her happy and growing with confidence is the most important thing, and that’s exactly what we’re experiencing here. Thank you so much to the entire Lighthouse Academy team. 🙏🏽

I have a daughter who study at Lighthouse for three years, and it is a school I truly recommend.
The teachers are professional and highly qualified, and the children are respectful and well cared for. There is a beautiful balance between creativity and academics. The students read and write a lot, and at the same time they have dance classes, play padel and volleyball, and engage in plenty of physical activity, which I believe is very important for their development, especially at this age. I honestly have nothing negative to say.
My daughter is very happy at this school, and I recommend it because this balance is not easy to find. Many schools in Bali tend to be either too play-focused or too academically demanding, and Lighthouse offers a healthy and well-rounded middle ground. So, if you are looking for a school for your children, I recommend that you visit Lighthouse Academy.
